Local Officers Arrest Male for Multiple Robberies

I wanted to provide you an update regarding Violent crime, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Last week, your local Marylebone and Hyde Park safer neighbourhood officers gathered CCTV relating to a robbery in the area. After viewing the CCTV footage, Officers recognised the offender and conducted proactive patrols searching for him.

Upon finding the offender, officers arrested the male for robbery and two other offences he was wanted for - a separate robbery and theft.

The perpetrator was charged for the robbery he was identified for and officers are applying to the courts for implementation of a Criminal Behaviour Order to address their offending and protect the public.
